The change is remarkable. I had been to see Mike for physiotherapy some years ago but whilst training for the great north run i started with a knee injury. I have moved to Newcastle now but the problem wouldn't go away. I called Mike as he'd helped me in the past and saw his website offering cortisone by coincidence. Beware of using other cortisone "specialists" who charge much less. This is the only clinic who employ specialist pain consultants and offer ultrasound guided injections. I wouldn't let anyone else treat me.

3 days before the London Marathon I was in agony with a serious inflammation of the hip flexor area (Iliopsoas Bursitis). I could barely walk. I can't describe the feeling of dejection and frustration I felt after so many months of training. I went to see Mike Squirrell and Joel Key with little hope. They made it happen for me thanks to their sound advice, expert treatment and a cortisone injection aka "the magic gun". Thanks to Mike and Joel I was able to run the marathon in 3:41h, bang in line with the time range I had in mind. Amazing!

I was suffering from heel pain and achilles tendinitis for 6 months which was stopping me from competing in traithlons. I had tried orthotics, physio, new shoes, acupuncture and everything. Mike cleared up the symptoms almost immediatelt with a combinatin of laser and cortisone therapy. I f it wasn’t for him I may have had the pain for the rest of my life – truly a life-saver!!

I had a really bad flare up of gout so decided to give cortisone London a try.On entering I was met by Laura who was one of the most polite people I have met.I had the injection after several questionnaires about my medical background and condition.As Laura explained,My knee was sore for a few hours.Later in the evening a friend asked about the treatment.I had totally forgot about it as I was pain free.Brilliant service and brilliant people

I wouldn't use any other clinic in London. Their knowledge and experience is far beyond the other 2 clinics i have used in the past. They are a little more expensive but it's worth it for the knowledge and experienced team you get. I wouldn't be able to run in this years london marathon without them.

Laura is a great Physio and really takes her time to explain everything in detail. The injections I’ve had have really helped me get over the line on some sporting events.

I tried a different clinic who were much cheaper 2 months prior before coming to this clinic. Their service was far rougher and felt rushed in comparison. I loved the follow up calls to see how I was doing and the clinic itself is very nice and the staff were really pleasant.

Mike is very professional and spent a long time discussing the issues I was having. After the first ultrasound cortisone injection 2 days later the pain had reduced massively. 2 weeks later i have no more problems.

#1 cortisone clinic by far. Tried another clinic I found on Facebook but didn't see the results I wanted sadly. Without Florence I wouldn't have been able to complete in last years London marathon.

Mike's injection into my lower lumbar spine changed everything. I had 3 months of agony, sometimes 10/10 pain and my NHS GP and physio seeing me within 2 days, but then telling me that, even though I appear to have herniated discs, I can't have an MRI confirming it for 3-5 months or a pain specialist appt, most likely to inject cortisone, for about 5 months. So I paid for a private MRI that confirmed 2 herniations and then started doing research for a private injection. The cost was typically between £2800 and £3500 incl. prior consultation and the injection - I just couldn't afford this. Then I found Mike and Cortisone London, who charge so much less. I emailed on the Sunday (in despair) and was seen and injected the following day (having brought my MRI scan CD). 3 days of flare-up followed, then a 2-week plateau and then it started working on Day 13. And, I cannot put into words how it feels to go from 7/10 up to 10/10 pain daily to almost none. My friends say I shine with euphoria. Now I can go swimming and do Pilates to help heal and prevent this happening again. Thank you so much.
